Head, Health & Wellbeing Operations
Sharon Wilkie, MS, MBA, leads employee health and well-being operations for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In this role, she works to translate GSK’s employee health and well-being strategy into scalable and measurable initiatives, and she is responsible for the execution of global programs including GSK’s “core health offering,” digital platforms, energy and resilience, and EAP, and for demonstrating their impact. In her 25 years at GSK, Sharon has held a wide variety of roles in health promotion, work/life programs, health strategy, measurement and communications. She also worked in the US Pharmaceuticals business, driving strategic planning and project management. More recently, Sharon was the project manager for Partnership for Prevention, GSK’s global preventative health benefits program. Sharon holds degrees in physical education/health education and exercise science as well as an MBA with a concentration in human resource management. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending time with her partner and their two boys.
